Night trekking trails in Xàbia
“Camina per la Marina Alta amb la Lluna” (A walk around Marina Alta with the moon) is the name of the trekking activities organized by Consorci Esportiu de la Marina Alta (Marina Alta Sport Consortium) for the month of August’s nights.
There are three walking routes on summer evenings when all participants can enjoy the moon while working out trough Costa Blanca paths.
The first route will take place on August 3 under the name ” Moscatell Route with full moon”, in which participants will visit the Vall del Pop from Senija through Llíber, Gorgos River, Bassa de Sapena and Xaló, across 12 km long path that takes from 3 to 4 hours to be completed.

Espai La Senieta
The Summer Concerts series “Music a L’Estiu” (Music in the Summer) of the Association of Professional Musicians of Teulada will take place at Santa Catalina Church of Teulada and Espai La Senieta of Moraira every Thursday in August and the first Thursday in September at 20:00 h.
In this series of concerts the attendees can enjoy of musicians of high level performing the best classical pieces by string quartet or a wind quintet, feel the rhythm of the Dixieland band performances or listen to Spanish composers on an ensemble of trumpet and piano.

The fiestas to honour Our Lady of the Helpless (Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados) and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Patron saint iof the fishermen, is one of the most awaited festivals of all summer in Moraira and start now.

Route to Pla de Petracos
The Active Holiday program of Vall del Pop, Benissa and Teulada, presents the Castell de Castells hiking trail: afternoon at Pla de Petracos. The route will be walked on July 14 and August 11. It aims to understand and interpret the paintings.
This sanctuary is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and is a truly cultural gem and a particular landscape.

Benissa Tapas Route from 6 to 11 August
The “Benissa amb sabor: cultura i tapes” Tapas Route celebrates its fourth edition. This tour merges cuisine and culture into a rich variety of exquisite tapas to be tasted in different bars and restaurants, each one with a unique culinary style, and seasoned by live performances.
The inauguration of the IV Benissa Tapas Route is Friday 6 July at 21:30 h, with a musical performance. The route will take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 19:30 to 23:00 hours, until 11 August. DRINK + TAPA = € 2.

Ampolla beach, Moraira
Tomorrow 5 July is the last registration day for all those interested in participating in the 12th swimming race across l’Andragó cove.
This competition will take place on Saturday 7 July along 1300 meters of open sea run.
This activity is organized in the framework of the Moraira Town Festival as a “fun sporting event that year after year gathers a large number of high level swimmers facing the challenge of such a physically demanding race.
