The Moraira Yacht Club
In June 2011, Moraira Yacht Club -the closest to Cumbre del Sol– starts the high season with two events in June:
XII “Memorial Juan Moreno” Spain’s Endurance Regatta for motorised boats: This regatta is possible thanks to the collaboration among the yacht club, the Motorboating Federation of the Region of Valencia and Formentera Mar. Sponsored by Repsol. From 9 to 10 June.
The minimum length to enter the competition is 8 m, and the slowest constant speed is 10 knots. The registration period ends in two days.
The applicable rules and regulations for this competition are those of the Union of International Motorboating for leisure boats, and those established by the organizers.
On Wednesday 8, there will be the skippers’ meeting and a wine tasting to honour and welcome the participants. On Thursday 9, the regatta will take place, while the prizes and the dinner will be on Friday.
